overnment employees who took early retirement packages in the past are struggling financially today. They cannot be re-employed into their old posts. This has resulted in many deciding not to take the early retirement offer that is currently on the table until the end of September, 2019.
I have also witnessed teachers and other public servants paying millions in taxes as they exercise the offer by government for those who qualify for early retirement.
LOOK AT THIS PART CAREFULLY ***** Most people take the smaller amount of money that is left after paying high taxes and use it to pay off their debts, buy furniture, renovate homes or buy cars. The sad part of this is that those who do this are also likely to end up without any money in a short space of time.

To ensure that public servants make the right decisions about their retirement packages, Phumelele Ndumo will be conducting talks for those who are 55 and above. The objective of the talks is to ensure that public servants do NOT waste their hard earned pension money by paying too much in taxes and most importantly, to ensure that their pensions last them for the rest of their lives.
You do not want to depend on your children or end up depending on SASSA.
