Before Mbali read the book:

I was heavily indebted, my salary could no longer sustain all my needs. After the monthly debit orders I was left with almost no money to live on. My biggest debts were a car installment for an expensive A3 convertible sports car and a 2 bedroom property bond. Plus clothing accounts and 2 personal loans.

Mbali After Reading the book:

I did an evaluation on my car and assessed how much I was still owing. Then I did a trade – in and got myself a cheaper car and this not only reduced my monthly installment by R4000 a month it also meant I would spend less on petrol, maintenance and insurance.
After changing my car I was fortunate to get a  new job which came with a huge salary increase. In the 7 months into my new job I have paid off my clothing accounts, settled 1 personal loan and I’m busy settling the 2^nd one. I also reduced unnecessary spending.
I’m now working towards saving more and putting more money towards my bond to pay it off quicker. In the very near future I’ll get a 2nd property.

The book has changed my life and the way I think about money. I am already investing R3000 monthly, I could not do this while I was in a lot of debt.
