A lot can change in 12 months

We hope you had a wonderful and restful Christmas and you are having a great start to the new year! During the holidays, we thought of an idea which we hope will help SA to start saving. As you know, we are not good at saving and we rely too much on debt. We came up with a simple campaign #MoneyGoals2023 and we would love it if you could join us! We hope that this campaign will also teach our children to save money from an early age.

Please help us as follows:

• Involve your children and the whole family. We were very lucky that even my housekeeper is taking part because she wants to save school fees for her daughter
• Please also invite your friends and colleagues to take part, feel free to tag them in our challenge on our social media pages
• Please see the video that we took on how to make your jar should you opt to recycle. Please exercise caution if you are making your own
• Please take videos of yourself as you deposit the money into your piggy bank
• We will be happy to get photos and videos from you. Please keep the videos no more than 30 seconds
• Please do not show faces of your kids, but you can show their little fingers as they deposit the money into the piggy bank

NOTE

We would like to share all videos and photos on social media. We are therefore asking your permission to share the content you share with us on social media. Please send us the photos and videos if you are happy for us to share same on social media.

Remember to keep a journal of all deposits you make into your piggy bank so you know how much you have deposited. Try and deposit at least R20-R50 weekly, the more you can deposit, the better!
